Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
